Man Purse

We heard Jack playing in the kitchen, so after a few minutes Luke went over to check on him. He had put his sippy cup in Luke's shoe and was carrying it around like a purse!! This little boy makes us laugh all the time!

He was so proud of himself!

As you can see from the first 2 pictures, Jack is a big fan of not wearing clothes! This evening we were letting him run around in the sweater he wore to church this morning and his diaper.

Luke and I were sitting on the couch watching the Pro Bowl when Jack walked climbed up in my lap and handed me his socks to put on him. A few minutes he came back with his tennis shoes! Pretty stylish, huh??

Ok, I know this is bad, but I just had to post this picture! Jack had just walked into the side of the couch and was momentarily upset. (You can see the red mark it left on his forehead in the picture above). Look how big his mouth can get!!! hahaha :)

Jack's 1 Year Pictures

We FINALLY took Jack for his one year pictures. Only a couple of months late! hahaha We were really pleased with how they turned out. Luke and I jumped in for a few family shots, too. Keep in mind that these are the raw images, so the ones that are zoomed in look a little better :)

He didn't want to stay in the chair at all! This is the best "chair" shot they were able to get.

A much needed update!

I know, I know...I'm a GIANT slacker on keeping our blog updated!! I don't know if I'll ever get around to posting pictures from Jack's first birthday or Christmas. The pictures are on Luke's computer and I just never think about it once he's home for the evening.

The most exciting recent thing is that Jack is now saying WORDS!!! Of course, none of them are super clear. And he only repeats them after we say them. But here's a list of what he says:

• mama
• dada
• dog
• woof
• throw
• cheese
• please (which sounds a lot like cheese)
• hot
• paw paw
• bo bo (for uncle bobby)
• juice

Jack also has all but 2 teeth. Although he's a pretty good teether, I'll be very happy when teething is over (for a couple of years at least :) ).
