Washington Park

While we were in Macon, I went with my dad, Landon, and Jack to Washington Park one day. This was a park I grew up going to, so I was really excited to take Jack there. If you've never been there, it's a really beautiful park with water running all through it.

Jack loved blowing bubbles and actually learned to say "bubble" this day! Now, he says it all the time and ALWAYS wants to go outside and blow bubbles.

Landon watching the water carry the ball to him.

Splashing :)

It took Jack a little while to warm up to the water (because the water was cold). Here's a picture of him running through the water with "PawPaw" in the background.

Trying to get a picture of the two of them....Jack wasn't having any of that!

Ok....KINDA got them both in this shot....

Landon showing off his muscles!!

Bobby's Graduation!!!!

I am SO proud of my big brother, Bobby, for graduating from Macon State College a couple of weeks ago!!! He had so many reasons that he could've quit, but he stuck with it and graduated with his bachelors in business!

There he his! The one with the long hair and beard!!

See him walking across the stage getting his "diploma" (a piece of paper that says be sure to pay all your fines, etc.)?

Walking off the stage.....

There's me and my big bro after his graduation ceremony! Way to go, Bobby!!

I just LOVE this picture! Landon (my nephew, Bobby's son) shaking Bobby's hand after graduation.

My parents with Bobby afterwards:

A nice Father/ Son photo op :)

Outside Fun

We're watching my brother and sister in law's dog this week, so Jack and I have gone outside every morning to let him and Levi out (we have an invisible fence, so normally we just let Levi out and we stay inside). This morning was no different....until we got back inside. Jack kept bringing me his Crocs and saying, "shoes, shoes, shoes." I knew what he wanted, but I just said, "yes, those are shoes" and tried to ignore him because I didn't want to go back out at the moment. He proceeded to bring me my flip flops and tried to put them on my feet. After that, he brought a dog bowl and said, "dog, dog." I said, "Do you want to take the dogs outside?" "Yes!" and he ran to the door.

So, I put his crocs on over his footed jammies and we went back outside with the dogs....and brought the bubbles with us this time :)

Having fun running outside:

Playing with Levi:

Jack loves to sit on the front step with me :)
While I had the camera outside, I thought I'd take a picture of my Dahilias to show you. Remember our super generous neighbors who gave us all the veggies? Well, they also gave us 3 Dahilia plants. One of them has come up. I'm not sure why some of the leaves are missing chunks! The other 2 have yet to show themselves....I hope I didn't drown them!!
On a side note, our son is becoming quite the artist.....well, at least he likes to draw! But only with pen. Here's a picture of some artwork from today proudly displayed on our fridge:
